All you need is love, love, love is all you need. Spouted The Beatles, but I say NO!. No its not,
you need beer, good music and a bunch of gender confused individuals, which luckily I found (or
should that be unluckily?). So McCartney get you’re Ouija board out get hold of John Lennon and
re-write the song.

The AliBongos Valentines Party was held at Evesham United Football Club, and the theme for this
party was reverse ‘Come Dancing’ and as you all know by now the Alibongos have a Pixie Dust factory
based in a secret part of the country, in a sort of Area 51 secure area, they use said Pixie Dust to
good effect to create parties that are up there with the best of them.
The fancy dress, was fantastic with not only the Ali Bongos dressing up, but people from all
different clubs made an exceptional effort, The ladies looked smart in their ‘male clothing, but
the main stars were the men (and I use the word men loosely), Now I am sure that everyone knows
how beer goggles work, the more you drink, the prettier girls get, but even superman’s beer goggles
would not have worked here. They started out ugly and ended up even uglier. And I am sure I even
overheard the Perverts in Leather members saying that these guys were weird; imagine if you can,
partying inside a cartoon, well that’s sort of what it was like.
Club members from all over, rolled up all evening, and the turnout was wonderful, including a bloke
who had travelled from Southampton with a rolled up copy of BSH open at the events section and
asked if that could be stamped on entry as well.

Music was courtesy of Stitch and Infirm, now most people know of my music tastes and music that
doesn’t start with ‘Yo’ or ‘Butts’ is not in my collection But these lads are good, very good, I
onlystayed and listened to the complete set of two bands last year, and these were one of them,
They are all 15, they've been together for three years. And they like to write all their own stuff,
but will also throw in a few covers of bands they like, (Nirvana, Silverchair, etc).I could listen
to them a lot and there are no ifs or buts, these lads will be going places.
They were followed by ‘Infirm’ who were a lot more mellow and complemented Stitch fantastically.
The fancy dress had three categories, Best Male, Best Female, and best AliBongo member, Best male
went to Geoff from Barkin Mad Mcc in his fetching red number with plats, Best female went to Rachel
with her Charlie Chaplain outfit, And finally best Alibongo member went to Bullhead in his ladyboy
outfit.

A special mention  was earned by Freak and although he didn’t win a prize, his outfit gave me the
greatest pleasure all night, especially as I was laughing at him and not with him, his dress made
him look more like a member of the ‘hair bear bunch’ than a lady

so once again a wonderful evening laid on by the Alibongos and may there be many more.
